Jeff Kapp is an Ordained Elder of The United Methodist Church and has served as pastor of Kochenderfer Church since 2021. Previously, he served at Avon Zion UMC, Ebenezer UMC, and Bethany UMC in Lebanon. Before professional ministry, he worked in low-income housing as a consultant, trainer, and manager.     Pastor Jeff is also a pre-licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. He earned his undergraduate degree from Clarion University of PA, a Master of Divinity from Evangelical Seminary in 2021, and a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Kairos University in 2024. He also studied biological sciences at the University of Illinois, Chicago.     He has been married to Laurabeth Shearer Kapp since 2012. She is the daughter of Rev. Dr. Rod Shearer, retired, who also served at KUMC. Hailing from Richmond, Virginia, Dr. Tobias Keene brings a bit of unabashed Southern hospitality to all his patients. He moved to Washington, D.C. over thirty years ago as a freshman at Ivy College. Right after graduation, he attended World University’s School of Dentistry. Before opening Keene Dental in 1994, he worked for free clinics and some of the finest practices in the District. He is part of the 123 Dental Association and stays up-to-date on the latest dental discoveries. Bernie began her career as organist at KUMC August 1, 1964, and this past August celebrated 60 years of service, and still counting. Bernie played the piano for 9 years prior to self-teaching herself the transition to organ. Throughout her working career she held the position of secretary for the West Lebanon Township Commissioners. Retiring after 29 years of service, she worked for 8 years in the office at the former Kercher Machine Works. Throughout her years at KUMC, Bernie also served as senior choir director, while she accompanied the choir at the organ and also started the churches' Retirees Monthly Breakfast get togethers. Bernie is a member of the Retired Steelworkers and attends monthly meetings. Her hobbies include watching the Phillies, playing cards and assembling jig saw puzzles.
